Allama Iqbal International Airport is on the east side of Lahore, about 30–40 minutes from Gulberg or DHA in normal traffic. It has the widest choice of Gulf and Saudi departures in Punjab, so Umrah groups from Gujranwala, Sheikhupura and Kasur usually depart from here.
