Flight time & distance calculator

Pick any two airports: distance, estimated flying time, nonstop airlines on record, one-stop routings and the time difference.

How this calculator works

Distance is the great-circle distance between the two airports (coordinates from the OurAirports database). Flight time is estimated from that distance at a typical cruise speed of about 830 km/h plus 45 minutes for taxi, climb and descent; short sectors use a lower average speed. If a nonstop airline is on record for the pair, it is named; otherwise the tool suggests realistic one-stop hubs and adds a 2½-hour connection. Real schedules differ by aircraft, winds and routing, so treat results as planning estimates.

Why we do not show fares here

Airline fares change several times a day. A number printed on a page is wrong by the time you read it. Send your dates on WhatsApp and you get today's fares in writing.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the flight time?

Within about 10–15% of scheduled block time for most sectors. Winds, routing around airspace and aircraft type cause the rest.

Does it include the connection time?

For one-stop routings it adds 2½ hours; real connections range from 1 to 6 hours depending on the schedule.

Can I ask for a route that is not listed?

Yes. The tool covers 111 airports; we ticket any IATA route worldwide. Send the airports on WhatsApp.

Ready to plan your Umrah?

Send your departure city, dates and number of travellers. You get a written quote with hotel names and flight timings, usually within the hour.
